You can’t imagine a building without windows but windows can make you vulnerable with respect to personal safety, physical security, electronic security, high energy costs, and theft.
XO™ Armor is a revolutionary process combining XO™ Film with our mounting solution XO™ Bond (patent pending). Unlike conventional safety and security films, this unique mounting solution penetrates the glass to form a molecular bond between existing glazing and XO™ Film, transforming the new field-laminated glass into a super strong
protective shield against bullets and debris without the level of distortion often seen in conventional ballistic glazing.
Sometimes the threat is from nature, other times people. No matter where the threat comes from, XO Armor Safety and Security Window Films can help you be prepared for the worst.
When natural disasters like hurricanes, tornados, high winds, and earthquakes hit, there is little you can do to protect your building. But by planning ahead, your building can be prepared for the worst. Glass can be your worst enemy in severe weather and storms. When unprotected glass breaks, shards can be sent flying causing severe injury to people and major damage to property.
During a disaster, XO Armor Safety and Security Window Films help hold the glass together to maintain the integrity of your home. This also helps to keep flying glass from harming inhabitants and, in many circumstances, keeps out wind and rain.
THEFT
Do you think tempered glass will keep a thief out? Think again. XO™ films can keep the would-be thief outside.
STORM
Don’t find yourself in the middle of a storm looking for plywood and a dead battery on your cordless drill – XO™ films work 24/7/365 to keep the wind and rain outside.

Astro Guard
The Next Generation of Hurricane Fabric
AstroGuard is shaking up the hurricane protection marketplace. You probably know that hurricane fabric is quickly displacing traditional hurricane shutters, and now AstroGuard has emerged as the next generation of hurricane fabric. It combines a high-strength, high-tenacity nylon hybrid fabric with an ultra-durable, UV resistant resin coating. The result? Hurricane protection that is stronger, easier to own and more affordable.
Is AstroGuard Florida Building Code approved?
Yes. AstroGuard has passed the stringent requirements necessary to gain approval by the Florida Building Code, Approval #12573. This is reserved for very few hurricane protection systems that can protect the most at-risk areas such as islands and beachfront homes.
How heavy is AstroGuard?
AstroGuard weighs about 11 ounces per square yard. This means that a typical window opening covered with AstroGuard would weigh less than two pounds.
What is AstroGuard’s warranty?
AstroGuard carries a ten year limited warranty. Click here for details.
Can I leave AstroGuard up for the entire hurricane season?
Yes. You can safely deploy AstroGuard and leave it up for the entire season without any degradation to the product.
How much skill is required to install AstroGuard myself?
Do-it-yourself installation of AstroGuard requires general handyman and carpentry skills. You will need to be able to climb a ladder and operate a drill. Need help? We are available by phone or e-mail to give you advice from the pros who have successfully installed thousands of jobs!
How hard is it to deploy AstroGuard when a storm is coming?
